Первый Слёт блоггеров-путешественников состоялся в г. Кемер (Турция). На Слёт турблоггеры ехали со всех концов России: Москва, Питер, Красноярск, Нижний Новгород, Екатеринбург, Ижевск, Пермь – вот далеко не полный список городов, из которых приехали участники. В Слёте принимали участие не только сами блоггеры, но и представители СМИ - центральных и специализированных изданий, радио, ТВ и Интернет-ресурсов.
Всего в акции приняло участие более 100 человек. Пожалуй, впервые в одной реальной точке пространства собралось так много представителей виртуального сообщества блоггеров, увлеченных туризмом. Это авторы дневников – причем не только на нашем сайте, но и на таких популярных блоггерских сервисах, как LiveJournal и LiveInternet. Кроме того, в слёте участвовали авторитетные эксперты Рунета – Антон Носик, Валентин Любимов, Руслан Чачанов, Анхар Кочнева, Ирина Старостина, а также журналисты.
Уже в самом начале Слёта, до отлета из Москвы, в аэропорту, стало понятно, что мероприятие станет оригинальным, наполненным позитивом и запоминающимся. Все участники были воодушевлены и светились радостью! А уже после прохождения контроля все были объединены в тесные большие и маленькие компании.
В рамках Слёта прошла конференция "Блоги+Туризм=?", вызвавшая значительный интерес со стороны как блоггеров, так и представителей СМИ. Ну а после конференции участники Слёта были предоставлены сами себе в хорошем смысле: могли не только купаться и наслаждаться пляжным отдыхом, но и обсуждать между собой современные тенденции развития интернета и блогосферы.
